Post: Linux Network Administrator |
|
Summary:
We are looking for Linux
Network administrator who will be Responsible for the WEB Hosting
System Server Administration, configuration and maintenance of
Apache, MySQL, PHP and other web add-ons and components. Plan,
design, analyze, backup, recovery and provide Network Security
for all available servers. Conduct research and evaluation of
network technology and recommend new fast and secure network
equipments and tools. |

| PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES |
|
• Remotely managing Web Hosting
servers and application infrastructure platforms.
• In
support of platform, the associates are responsible for
troubleshooting and analysis, fault resolution, configuration
management, change management and performance management.
•
Consulting with team and management to evaluate requirements,
recommend designs, and provide cost analyses, plan
implementation, and coordinate tasks for installation of modules
and libraries.
• The associates are required to monitor
database performance and perform required tuning, manage space
utilization, perform backup and recovery procedures, verify
utility outputs and also perform the installation of patches and
upgrades Plan, test, recommend, and implement firewall, real
time processing in secured environment.
• Providing network
documentation, training, and guidance to team members and
programmers.
• Serving as technical specialist in network
problems and emergencies.
• Conducting technical research on
network upgrades and components to determine feasibility, cost,
time required, and compatibility with current system.
•
Maintaining confidentiality with regard to the information being
processed, stored or accessed by the network.
• Documenting
network problems and resolutions for future reference.
•
Assist personnel of other departments as an IT resource.
•
Oversee the installation and replica of Servers in local office.
• Provide on-the-job training to new department staff members
related to Web Servers and securities.
Education & Experience
MSc.
(Software engineering / computer Science / Information
Technology), or at least BS (Hons.) Computer Sciences or at
least or equivalent technical certification. At least 2-3years
experience of network administration in a commercial IT
environment.
